I'm level 9 now...but I still don't get the addiction everyone else seems to have. I like it alright, but I'd rather be here. Which is why I am.

Oh yeah, I know they don't, lol. Daniel's kind of jealous of me because I'm "popular" online and he's not. Ahahaahaha.

 

My friend once posted a picture of herself with the caption I have two W's on my butt and they spell WoW. So thats the first thought I had when I read that. Good luck on not getting addicted. I don't even know what the game is about personally.

I got to level 19 and cancelled my subscription

the treadmill doesn't have quite the allure it once did

now I am addicted to freespace 2 again with it's pseudo newtonian physics.

 

I keep seeing commercials for that Pirates of the Caribbean game, but I'm sure you can only do so much before they start asking money. It looks like a shitload of awesome, though.

 

I put 2000 hours of my life into guild wars, and, though I do not regret them, per se, I wish I'd done something more social with my time.

 

Haha, WoW is what most of my friends DO as their "social time" and the ones I play with live with me, so I socialize plenty with them, lol.

 

I wasn't saying it's a bad choice to start playing, I was just sharing my own experience as a former hardcore gamer.

I tend to be a bit of a recluse anyhow, the game just gave me a better excuse.

 

I'm a terrible recluse, lol. I rarely leave the house except to go to work and the grocery store. Not a lot of social life in this place, though, so I doubt I'm missing out on much.

 

I spent a year, in my darkened room (window blacked out, five watt bulb and my computer my only sources of light) alone.

I used to play WoW a couple of years ago but everyone on my server hated me

After a while you kinda get tired of getting spat on every time you walk into a city

 

just pwn the shit out of all of them, it makes life easier (of course, that's after you have spent two years of your life mindlessly grinding)

WoW, Silkroad online, too much grinding, diablo 2 expansion, Morrowind, Oblivion much better, also Battle net for D2 for those wanting interaction w/ others, my 2 sons and I play here tcip, we keep basically same level characters used just for that purpose although since they are both necro's it can be hard to tell where the real foes are and they tend to block passagerways (lol).
