wash your hair with tar soap, and by the way when you have dreads you dont really need to wash the dreads but your scalp. Its very important to wash your scalp.

wouldnt use tar soap really that can leave a tar scent thats a medicated soap for dandruf
instead use dr bronners teatree oil soap
the teatree oil helps dandruff with a mjuch more pleasant scent then tar

post pics but sounds like your hairs perfect for natural dreads so
    stop combing
let it mnatt up but seperate into sections (rip 1 dread from anbnother so they dont all combine into 1 megadread)
thats it thats all ya gotta do

waxing is a huge mistake that will end up making ya cut your dreads..wax traps dirt and water causing mold and mildew it also just glues hait ytogether keeping it from moving so it never really dreads
plus its almost impossible to get out without water hot enough to blister your scalp..wax is evil

But what if you want to de tangle your hair... (for example your mother threatens to disown you if you don't remove them) you'll have not much hair left?

dilute it 1 part bronners, 10 part water. Some go 20 part water, but I like mine to be soapy. Its more of a personal preference. Find out how much you like it diluted and do it like that. But def dilute it quite a bit.
