I'm a 19 year old male and my parents want to sign me up against my permission to the Army. Can they do that? By force can they do that?

    Hell no!

But it says that you are 20 in your profile details.

Anyway, I'd move out if I were you.

sure they can. they can afford a better lawyer than you can, and the army really wants you, so they won't be any help

Tell your parents that you are gay. Thus, the army can't take you.

Tell your parents that if they're so keen on the army, they can join it themselves. I'm betting they won't.

Maybe they are just trying to get you to do something with your life. Motivate you.

I doubt they actually believe they have the right to sign your ass over to Uncle Sam.

im sure the statement was something like,"if you dont get your lazy ass outta bed and find a job we are going to enlist you in the army!!"

to which im sure he replied.. "mommy, daddy is being mean to me"..

to which im sure she replied,"son your almost 20 years old and all you do is eat our food ask us for money and sleep when your here.youve got to do something with your life.maybe the army isnt such a bad thing"..

to which,he went storming off to his room and started this thread...
