I sort of want McCain to win just to upset everyone here

That's true. Supposedly from the injuries he sustained in Vietnam. That's why he looks so robotic when he moves his arms.

I won't be upset if he wins because of your second sentence. It makes no difference who wins. In some ways I think Obama is worse. I think Obama could carry out the same policies as Bush, and the majority of his gullible followers would go along with it because he has a D next to his name instead of an R. It's kind of like how the Left accepted Clinton bombing the hell out of Serbia and that aspirin factory in Sudan. There was no outcry from the Left when that happened.

 

McCain was given preferential treatment by the Viet Cong in exchange for intelligence information. The guy was never tortured, and his fellow POW's can attest to that. The guy had the opportunity to come home in '67, but refused because that would have blown his career in politics.

There is nothing heroic about John McCain. The guy is a complete turncoat, and he certainly is not conservative.
