that's awesome!! Congratulations...best of luck in all things to come!

However, I am a firm believer that soul mates do not exist. I find it impossible that there can be only one perfect match for another human being. It is all circumstantial. I think one person has numerous campatible person but it depends on if they ever meet, what they are doing in their lives, where they are mentally...etc....

anyway we are all happy for you :D

That's how I felt too! I thought, "dude, that is so dumb... what if you miss them? what if someone goes without a match? surely there can't be a perfectly even number of people in the world..."

    And yet... there he is...

It's hard to explain. There are just so many things... so many eerie coincidences, so many similarities, how well we compliment each other... despite totally different backgrounds, even living in different states... He almost didn't come to New York to go to my college. I almost went to Alfred State. But somehow we both ended up at this school and made it work after he left.......... yeah, see? I told you it was impossible to explain. It all sounds so cliche, but I guess I understand now... how people can feel that way.

He's moving in in about 2 weeks... I suppose there's always the possibility that it could all go down in flames and I'll come back tot his post years later and laugh (or cry) at my naivety... Statistically, that's what's more likely.

fuck statistics! If that happens, it happens, but you gotta put yourself out there and take risks...although this sounds like a pretty good risk to take!

Oh hell yeah, I'm in it for the long haul, here. He seems to be as well. We have terrible examples (my parents are separated and his are married, but barely), so it's a little daunting sometimes, but lately I just have a feeling that we will really be okay. At least we know what NOT to do. :p

Trying really hard not to google wedding dresses... ;)

Hehe, Google wedding dresses all you want, just be sure to clear the cache before he sees it. ;) But seriously, even if he's not the one, getting an idea of what you want for your wedding's never a bad thing. Just don't count your chickens before they hatch. :) But congratulations and best of luck! Relationships are super hard but ohhhh so rewarding when they're long-term.

Hey Laka, is going on four years too early to start thinking long-term? ;)
And I tell him I google wedding dresses. He doesn't mind.
He's said that he wants to propose. I'd be too nervous.
