My brother thinks going anywhere but the U.S. is stupid. I don't know where he got it. I want to move to Europe one day. So after he yells at me I get to thinking. If this ever does happen no matter how unlikely. Maybe he'll never visit!:D

Well as an American citizen I am choosing to live in Central and South America.

I love the USA and the people and the land. But the government is corrupt and evil.

I will never live in the USA again. I will visit of course.:D( great shopping!)

There is a vast wonderful world out there. Yet only about 20% of the US citizens have passports.

Why limit yourself to one country?;)

I recently asked Frank Black of the Pixies on his forum if when the next time he will be coming to Europe, and he said if it was up to him he'd be doing that 6 months a year. If that is not a good omen then what is.

But as someone who lives in Europe and likes it, and has been to Florida, I've dreamt of going to Cali for as long as I've owned a copy of Led Zep 4. I recently watched Into The Wild and, although it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be, it made me think of one of the great places in America, or so we hear. One day I hope to go there., I also want to to go to Canada, Iceland, mabye South America and India again.

Come over here, but don't stay as long in Holland as I did.

Go ahead and see the world. Learn another language, another culture, meet new friends. Its the best thing we can do with our lifes. There is always way back to our homelands. PEACE

NO It's not if you haven't been there! Someone told me there's a girl there, but now he's getting fucked by Suzanne Krauss. I think Amsterdam is overrated. Hump me.

Texas really is pretty neat. I actually really enjoy it here, except the whole pot's illegal thing. Haha.

nothing wrong with Europe (apart from the French, of course. goes without saying.) I'll move back at some point.

but I too have a fascination with the US, and will definitely tour it at one point and maybe try to work there for a while, and from what I can tell, California is the place to be. has it all, or so the Californians claim (not to mention the best weed in the world, apparently.)

California...I've never been there, I'd like to go, but it fucked up two people I loved dearly, so I don't think I'd stay.

I visited San Fransisco this past April besides it being so cold I loved it. I really want to go to college there and maybe study abroad in Europe if i'm lucky of course.

Kaylin always raved about San Francisco, she said that I belonged there. Hehe. Maybe I might stay if I went there, but L.A. has nothing for me, I'm sure.

It seems a little dangerous to me. My brother who lives there wrote a blog about him and a friend riding on the L and seeing a bullet with a piece a flesh beside it and two men with a number of teeth he could count on his fingers being denied entry for having jeans with the knees covered in blood.

There's a theory that lots of Americans will end up moving abroad anyway.
Probably to Cental America places and Mexico etc.
The arguments are cheap labour for good business opportunities , good standard of living in retirement , quality of life etc , and travelling distance to the US
30 years ago British people would have laughed at the idea of hundreds of thousands of Brits living in places like Spain or South /East Europe. But it happened

PLus it'd be better for Europe to have you all over there: )

I don't think your brother is stupid, but maybe his rationale is diiferent than mine.
The US has every climate you could think of - less than 6 - 8 hours away.
It has a wide range of cultural and historic land marks and it seems the shopping is not so bad either.
There is not much you can't do there.
So, why would your average American spend a few thousand dollars - countless hours traveling to go to Europe?
I can tell you the UK is not special really - and I imagine living in a European city - people think the same.

Oh he's stupid. But for other reasons. I like the United States to. I think an of moving to Europe would be that I identify myself so strongly as an American it would be hard not to. I want to visit Europe because it's a new place to go. It sounds exciting. I thought you had been banned.
