Anyone had or is familiar with Pink Eye?

I'm pretty sure I've got it in the viral form. Theres no puss which indicates that the infection did not come from bacteria (ie there is no poo in my eyes )
I have all the described symptoms and I know I should go to the doctor but I'm scared shitless and I have no one to go with me so I'm wondering if anyone has had it or if they know someone who did, and whether they have any homeopathic remedies that I could scrounge up around the house.

I can't honestly say I'm making it better, because I'm pretty sure I got this from watching the fireworks here on Saturday. They were really smokey so I thought it was just an infection, but 5 days later and I think im peaking on pink eye since my eye is so fucking red!!
It only seems to get worse and not better, but I'm a smoker and fuck if I don't have a smoke in stressful times like these.

I'm going to try using a warm compress everytime a smoke and see how that does it.

i can only imagine that this was brought on by a weakened immune system because I like another in this forum, just finished a fast a couple weeks ago. Damn. In the bid to get more healthy I failed epically.

 

all i know is that its quite contagious...i suggest you go to the doctor...why are you scared and what's so scary about goin to the doctor by yourself?

 

Up until now I lived with my Mom and she would always take me, and ever since I moved away everytime I go to the doctor they give me shit and treat me like an idiot.

I could go if I had a friend but I'm so scared of hearing something bad. I know I'm contagious which is exactly why I haven't left the house to go to the doctor. I love how everytime someone asks a question about pink eye the first thing someone says is YOUR CONTAGIOUS!! and its like thanks.. I didn't know that

Well I've decided to cave and go to the doctor, but only because I found out that the clinic where I go to get my birth control can help me, or at least prescribe me a cream and they are super nice there! I only knew about it because its a gay youth clinic and all my friends are gay! Hurrah!!

Plus, my eyes are watering again which is prolly a good sign, since before they were just gucky. Aaand I think my eyes are so red from just being irritated by my bad bad smoking

well turns out it never was pink eye, rather it was sub-conjunctival haemorraging (spel?) it mimics all symptoms except disharge! go fig

good thing you didn't have pink eye. from my experience, it's horrible. my whole fucking eye crusted over and it looked disgusting for a couple of days till i got some drops.

Well luckily the hemorrhaging is clearing up! one eye is almost back to normal and the other one is getting there. Apparantly eye drops make the healing slower! So a few days ago I stopped using them and they got all better! fuck with this thing I've experienced its like I've done everything Wrong to make it better!! lol

 

Just get some polysporin drops at the drugstore. Pink eye just runs its course anyways, however it is contagious. Throw away all your old make-up too.
