think bruce springsteen if he had a punk band who like bands like against me!, defiance ohio, the gaslight anthem, lucero flogging molly, dropkick murphys etc? please share some new ones if so these bands have easily shaped my life the live shows of this genre are just so atmospheric, everybody is dancing, singing a long, chucking an arm around you as if its the national anthem,nobody's there to start a biff, it's entirely for the music and by the end you are drenched in everyone's sweat and beer :cheers2: thats my idea of a show bless
johnny hobo and the freight trains are incredible!! the lead singer has a new band called Wingnut Dishwashers union, check em out, its great folk/punk music!!
dude wingnut dishwashers union and johnny hobo are freakin bomb! im really surprised anybody knew about em. but check out, ghost mice, andrew jackson jihad, this bike is a pipe bomb, asking for it (look up chris burrows on myspace), mark leonard, and look at plan-it-x.com its a distro run by chris clavin (i think) he's the guy from ghost mice, and the first folk punk band I ever heard (loved it ever since) but the website has a bunch of good music and info and you can find some awesome music there.
