I only started it a few months ago and I dont know how to explain it.I feel pressure or like a pain between my eyebrows but it doesn't hurt and then an hour or two could pass and I'll remember nothing as if I was asleep but I'm not asleep.Sometimes I get the feeling I'm traveling followed by that same painless pain "if that makes sense" only its in my chest ,then I freak out and snap out.This only the tip of the ice berg but can any explain any of this to me ? am i going mad ?
Wait, hold on. You just started mediation practice a few months ago right? And you go like into a blackout mode and snap out of it an hour or two later, right? Pain and pressure between your eyebrows, does this happen with every session?
Weed makes everything more intense! But meditation is the most intense total sensation when you figure out how it get's you high just from existing and knowing you exist. But that doesnt normally happen to people in the beginning
3 months ago to be exact and weed def makes it more intense.I wouldn't call what happens a blackout its hard to explain,I know time is passing but it happens fast and can you dumb down that explanation I'm not up to scratch on the terminology I can only describe what I've experienced.I discovered meditation on my own so I've never had any one to explain it or even anyone to quizz bout it
Well I cant say what is causing your forehead to be bothered. That might be something entirely physical, maybe you are concentrating on something or expecting too much? I dont know. But as for time going slower or faster, that is supposed to happen because you get in tune with time as it is inside you, the intimate part of it. The feeling that this time is yours, right now, makes you more aware of it passing, and naturally it will slow down and speed up. I dont know, it sounds really like you are experiencing an advanced state of meditation that you are trying to understand, when it is something that is beyond thought.
And yea I feel that pressure every time ,even when I'm not meditating I just sorta become aware of my minds eye and there it is and then i smile.it doesn't bother me it feels good
just burn some incense i like to stare at candles when i meditate and let your mind go where it wants
i know what your talking about to be honest and like you found out about meditation on my own. I feel the exact pressure in my head when i do it as well. right between my eye brows and its like a headache type thing but like the pressure is in the front of my head and right in my forehead. I never even get headaches but for some reason i do when i meditate. very wierd feeling.
It's not a black out man its like a dream only I'm awake and I can only do it once a day or maybe every 2 days
I could have even thrown that in this post instead of what Im typing right now, that's how classic it is
