I stumbled upon CNN today to read an American version of the Olmert story...and what I saw on the front page, as the main story amazed me. http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/07/30/frank.marijuana/index.html This story doesn't say anything too new in principle, but the fact that it was a headline on a mass media news-source amazed me. The story is also written in a rather positive, pro-legalization tone... which is extremely surprising for the mass media. This will force many people to accept some of the realities of marijuana, as the lies that they believe are rejected by the same news anchors they love and trust right in front of their eyes. It might not seem like much, but I think that this is a big step.
I loves me some Barney Frank. Vote yes on question 2 in November people of Massachusetts! Hooray for decriminalization in MA!
Barny Frank for pres. and not just cause he is pro legalization. Remember during the Clinton impeachment when every time it was his turn to ask a question he would ask the witness if the thought it was a good use of congress' time to persue this stuff. I wish I lived in his district so I could vote fo him. Yes on 2!
Woooowww. So I was just talking to my dad about this and asked if he was voting yes on 2 and he said "Fuck no, THEY know if you vote yes for marijuana and they will start watching you! I don't need that shit!!!" He refused to say who "they" was. Paranoid, much??? Haha
Yuppp. I took some advil from his truck today and my mom shouted "NEVER take pills from your father" and he responded "YEAH I was pushing mexican perc's hard last week, read what it is before you take it!!!!" I never can tell if he's kidding, hahaha
