I thought this was a really great movie. A solid love story, not the canonical BS, really well directed and acted. It just came out on video, if you haven't seen it you should check it out. I can't wait to see it again. If you've seen it, what did you think?
hey i'm going to watch that with a friend tomorrow night... i am in love with jim carrey.. and indie films.... and that movie just looks sooo frickin awesome
Ya I was DYING to see it in the theatres, but I had nobody to go with me. I hate going to movies alone. ahah, especially a love story. This movie looked great though, I'm going to have to go rent it as soon as I can. Jim Carrey is a fucking wonderful actor, it's really great to see him in more roles where his character is more complex than a rubbernecking, one-line spouting, clich'e.
omg i jsut watched this movie... and took it home with me from a friends.. i absolutely loved it! i cried... one of my friends didn't get it at all so i was trying to explain it to her.. oh it was just brilliant... i think i'm going to buy it.
Great film! Original concept with a really good cast. I even liked Kirsten Dunst in this film, and I had not previously been a big fan of hers (okay, with the exception of Spiderman 2 and Interview with a Vampire).
i really wanna rent that movie, i wanted to see it before but im a broke ass bitch. it sounds like it'll be good after reading the last posts. I seem to have a thing to where i can tell if a movie is gonna suck or be really good by seeing the preview...and usually im right
I love it! I saw it in the cinema and it just fucked with my head, but not too much, and in a good way It's so well done, and I love the way her hair colour helps you to work out the time frame in which things happened. So clever. A great touch. Great casting as well. Carrey is perfect for that role I think. *thumbs up*
yeah its a very heart warming movie. and i remember specifically them scenes memory when the faces were all mushy. thats exactly how i remember faces.
charlie kaufman is my favorite film writer. he comes up with such unique stories. eternal sunshine is a great film but my favorite kaufman movie is adaptation.
I havent sen it yet but my friend Brian shows me the trailer and teaser on the net almost every day..it looks awesome..and he loves the song that plays on the trailer...he dances to it the goof. Another one that looks worth a view is Garden States..the trailers make it look good..any of you seen it? recommend it?
I wanted to see this movie so bad after I saw the trailer for it, but the cinema is crappy in my town and will only show hollywood type films..no indie or art films, so of course it didn't come here. :$ I did get to see it a couple of nights ago though now that its out on dvd. Ooohh, it was so good, very romantic in a way unlike most romantic films. A little different from what the trailer made it out to be like, but not different in a bad way, because it was excellent!
