I seen him talking about it on CNN, They are covering it. I guess most people just dont care.

 

Humans are such a stupid race of beings... And I don't mean that so much in the sense of intelligence, but more of common sense. If we as a race are in global termoil from problems we caused ourselves, you would think that humans would be more open to the idea of learning from a species that may have already solved the problem themselves, or at least interstellar space travel so that we can use that technology to advance our chances of survival.

If given the opportunity to travel in space and learn about the cosmos or remain stuck on this rock, you can bet I would leave all of my earthly belongings behind (including family) and learn more about this vast universe.

...Because there are far more important things in this universe to think about than what celebrities are doing in their lives, and all the other meaningless nonsense humans tend to focus on like the little ants that we are.

It's funny how the majority of humans think they know everything there is about most things in life except for the meaning of life itself, but yet we know nothing about this vast universe. Unless you're a Bible thumper, there is no way humans can be the only living intelligent beings in this universe.

Now I will give in to the notion on what scientists have been saying for years, in that humans are a fluke in nature. And by that, they go on to explain how through a chain of random events lead up to our level of evolution which lead to our intelligence. That's plausible. And given the billions of years of this universe took to form, it is possible that other worlds could have had similar conditions that spawned life at a more accellerated rate. Which could also have gone through the same evolutionary changes as us and developed intelligence much sooner.

But what it comes down to is that anything is possible in this vast universe. And humans can't be naive to think we know everything there is.

 

I blame the Mexicans.

Sure, aliens can exist, but mr.Edgar Mitchell never saw one. That is my feeling.

 

I believe life exists on other planets, but I don't think any being from another planet has ever come anywhere near earth. Even if a being could travel close to the speed of light it would take forever to get anywhere. I think the only way beings from elsewhere could have got here is if they figured out how to get here without having to travel the distance in between.

 

Space is not necesarily a place that can't be bent or manipulated. Evidence has been shown through studying the edges of blackholes, when you see light from other stars in the background being bent. Larger objects that occupy space also bend it through it's gravitational pull.

But the point I'm making is that if space can be distorted, so can the possibility of bending it enough to shorten the distance between point A and point B. Maybe humans haven't figured out how to do it, but there may be other beings in this vast universe that have discovered the secret. We can't be that naive to think that we're the only superior intelligence in the galaxy.

 

I have read that some people believe that Beings from great distances away travel to our world and contact us in our dreams in the form of pure awareness that is not governed by the laws of physics and can therefor travel the distance instantaneously. I don't really believe it but it would make a good short story. But one thing I am fairly certain of is that aliens did not crash in Roswell New Mexico in 1948, and the bodies are not being kept at wright patterson airforce base in building 18. But it seems to me to be quite likely that there are other inhabited planets with many different levels of sophistication.

But back to the astronaut thing, more than one has claimed to see, photograph, videotape phenomena that they could not explain, and it does seem at least in some cases that NASA refused to release the images that the astronauts recorded, or brushed them away with unsatisfactory explanations. Interesting for sure but astronauts are people too and they could have been mistaken.

 

Well, I've always suspected that information about alien visits, UFO's, etc., was being covered up, and that people were being ordered to keep silent about it. Now this really confirms my suspicions.

A couple of friends of mine had information a few years ago about a speech (they were present at the speech) that a government official (diplomat) had made at their university about a major change in US foreign policy. It should have been a major news story-their student organization gave a press release about it to every major news organization in the US, plus some in Europe, and, guess what? Complete silence. Never word from anyone.

What kind of power does the government have to silence so many news organizations, in a country that supposedly has freedom of speech/press? And, one thing you might notice about this revelation by Edgar Mitchell-google this, and you'll find tht only one major news organization reported on this, and that was the London Daily Telegraph http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2453700/Aliens-exist,-but-NASA-covers-them-up-says-astronaut.html That, and the Australian site that Skip posted was the only major news coverage that this got, and neither was American, despite the fact that this astronaut that revealed this is one of the most important people ever in the US space program. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

 

If aliens do really exist, they have no reason to deal with us.
