Geeez I don't think I've ever felt this depressed or confused before

So I joined this web site. Classmates.com about 6 months ago. I don't even know why I did it. Just bored I guess. And out of the blue my old girl friend found me on it and started to E-Mail me. I was very happy at first. We almost got married back then but thing's went bad. I haven't seen her for over 30yrs. She wants to get together so we can see and talk to each other. I don't think it's a good idea. But I don't want to hurt her either. I'm very happy with the woman I'm with now. And don't want to stir thing's up. Nothing good can come from her and I getting together again. I'm to old for this shit. And the whole thing is depressing. I can't cheer up no matter what I do. I've insulted and criticized everyone around me today but even that is not making me feel good like it usually does. Nothing seems to break the funk I'm in. I just don't know what to do and I'm not happy about it. I just need something to cheer me up.

Why be depressed over something like this..? I mean you are happy with the woman--and btw, I am stunned you actually used the term woman--you are with so don't let something like this bring you down... If this previous lady brings about bad feelings and this type of mood, just ignore her emails and don't talk to her, don't meet her, nothing. Move forward and realize the woman you are with now makes you happy and that you are sitting there breathing...

You know, I felt weird last week when my ex girlfriend from last year e-mailed me.

Then I decided to write her back, and it was no big deal at all since I didn't have any feelings anymore.

30 years ago. You have a girl you like now. No big deal.

Its just a depressing kind of day, tomorrow will be better, I've been cryin' on and off all day too.

I have no idea what to do with ex-girlfriends either.

When I was young I shut one out real good. She kept e-mailing me for years.

But these days I'm a softie.

I just had an ex episode this morning, as a matter of fact.

Im talking to my ex right now over myspace ... and it feels very akward and weird ... but you know what ... i think i might be inlove with her ... just thought id give u my thoughts on it ...

There is nothing to be depressed about here...

I've had an old boyfriend contact me after about 12 years...I am happy where I am so I told him it wasn't a good idea to meet up. I was not going to put myself in a compromising position, if you know what I mean...

There is no "hurting her feelings" because you don't owe this woman anything. You tell her it's nice to hear from her, but you are happy to keep things the way they are.
