Hahaha, it's surprisingly good isn't it... especially with the melted cheese and the tomatoes... I want one now..
It's amazing. I added black pepper, though. Couldn't help it. I put pepper of some sort on everything. Maybe next time I'll try white pepper... Red would def. be too strong.
Never thought of adding black pepper, I should try that, I bet that is good.. Haha, I am hungry now...
Funny, I am making french bread with tomatos, parm and basil right now. I ammm sooo hungry. I don't think I have eaten today, which is super rare for me because I like eating.
For the fans of black pepper, spend about 3 bucks and get one with a built in grinder. Fresh ground pepper has sooo much more presence than the regular shaker stuff. You don't need as much either. x
no, where it's really at man-Is to grow your own pepper , dry it in the sun and grind it, with an orginal aztecian mortar and pestle.
Put a nice big basil leaf on it and some oil/vineger + black pepper and salt and you've got a delicious piece of food
That sounds good, though I don't really like salt too much so I would not add that.. But the basil leaf and perhaps olive oil...
lol I'm horrible at cooking things and never have any idea what I'm doing. but all I know is that in the microwave it DID NOT come out good. maybe I'll warm it up using a tray....
You could just put the cheese on a plate and melt it slightly in the microwave and then scoop it off the plate and put it on your bread that you toasted in your toaster... Or toast your bread and then place the cheese on the bread and then put it in the microwave to melt the cheese some and perhaps wrap it up in a napkin so it doesn't get too soggy, but then the cheese would stick to the napkin.. Hmm, this is quite the conundrum... Invest in a George Foreman grill thing..
Got it. Love it much. Use it ALL the time. That sounds orgasmic... My mom has a Foreman grill... We also have a GT Express (for teensy ones) and an actual sandwich toaster thing just for this purpose, but meh. I like the stove.
Hmmmm I love a broiled slice of tomato on a freshly toasted monterey cheese wheat bread sandwich, and add a little sea salt and black pepper.
