I would leave the fat man alone, because I would not be able to live with the decision to kill someone like that. I did not make the decision to put those people on the tracks. It was their decision to engage in this dangerous behavior. The consequences are theirs. No one deserves to die, but THEY put themselves in that situation, so why should someone else pay for THEIR actions?

 

its not a moral superiority thing...

its about physically putting someone in a fatal position instead of pushing a button or pulling a lever...and the percentage of people who would or wouldnt do that...
