joker; the search button SUCKS!

with all the recent controversy surrounding repeated threads and not using the search button, i have tried...and failed.

i type in stuff that i know should come up (zeitgeist for example which i and other people before me have posted about, 2c-e which should be SOMEWHERE...) no matter what i type into the search box, nothing ever comes up!
no matches is what i always get

so joker, looks like i'm gonna need specific directions if you ever want me/us to stop repeating topics and use the "search button" successfully.

ok; i tried again and stuff came up but i still don't think it works as good as you say, or that it deserves all the glory you give it. so i'm still posting

You can find anything you need to find that has been posted before using the Search Button.

Have you been using the one at the bottom of the page? Because they suck, your supposed to use the one at the top. Well I do anyway.

 

maybe if you could spell right stuff would pop up when you use the search bar.

I'm going to vouch for this, I have been a member on several forums that use the vBB system and the search function is a total piece of shit.

I don't like being anal but when ever you see a new thread and look at it and find that it's not new at all, it makes me just shake my head. I'm all for giving people advice but posting a new thread about something that can easily be searched is like making a Wikipedia entry that already exists.

who cares about the search button seriously? of course some things are going to be repeated....we constantly have new members daily. soon every topic will be gone if yall want to eliminate all the repeat threads. This place will become boring. Now I can understand not liking the constant..."how to make weed brownies" "whats your fav. song when high" and stupid stuff like that, but who cares if its been repeated once or twice. Im sure not everybody posted something about that topic who cares. Anyway just my 2 cents
