can you fail for morphine by taking codeine?

    i have taken a tylenol 3 tablet the other day and i took a drug test and came back as a 400 level for morphine. I read online that your body takes the codeine and turns it into morphine in the liver is this correct and the reason why i failed?

    Yeah, thats the reason here is info from wikipedia - The conversion of codeine to morphine occurs in the liver and is catalysed by the cytochrome P450 enzyme CYP2D6.
