as you resin up a piece, you get used to what it looks like when its dark on the inside. ive never heard of using efferdent though, i just use rubbing alcohol and a good rinse.

but it should be fine, you've probably just forgotten what it looked like brand new, i had a color changing one that died a few years ago, it was all iridescent yellow, and when all gooeyed up it was deep blues and purples. i miss my Anya. she was my first pipe.
