Ok, seriously now; Here's a story you may find interesting.

October 7, 1978: The day my uncle was buried. He suffered a long and painful illness and needless to say was injecting himself with prodigious amounts of morphine. He also had a macabre sense of death. The last book he read was a short story by Edgar Allan Poe, The Premature Burial.
The story made him start to think: What will I do if I am buried while still alive, waking up in a cold, dank coffin?
The shear terror that my uncle was overcome with made him make his brother promise him the following: He was to be buried with several syringes primed with morphine, a bottle of Bromptons Cocktail http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brompton_cocktail, and a few bologna sandwiches (heavy on the mayo). His last wishes were granted.

June 1, 1999: Moving day at the cemetary. It had to be relocated due to a strip mall anxiously awaiting its turn to bulldoze and pave the area. We had to exhume uncles casket, a sad, sad day.
My brother kept me company as we accompanied the casket to its new resting grounds. Feeling somewhat awkward in the hearse, we struck up a casual conversation. Soon it turned to uncles last wishes, and the syringes of morphine.
Slipping the driver a fifty, we had him pull over and open the casket. As the lid, its hinges creaking with age, was slowly lifted a shiny glint appeared from the emaciated and decayed hand of the corpse: The morphine! Without saying a word we each grabbed a syringe and without hesitating plunged the discolored needles into our arms, the now dull points popping into eager veins. We pushed down hard on the dry, rotted plungers, and then: Oh, what a euphoric bliss, nirvana! Orgasmic rushes of joy! The morphine was intact.

I think it would last quite a long time if kept out of heat and light. It would pretty much last forever, as heroin doesn't "go bad".

 

Morphine and H lasts for a loong time.

I heard a story of someone finding a 100 year old bottle of morphine and shooting it and getting high.

I really can't add much insight to this but I know for a factits aleast stays good for over 24 hours. I use to pack up rig up the night before with a bag or 2 of dope when I would go to sleep so in the morning it was right there so I could blast off and not worry about preparing my shit. The hit and rush were just as good as putting a freash bag in the rig.

 

Here's what ya do. Go over to a toilet and squirt it into the water then go throw your rig away and instead go smoke a big fat bowl of nug.
