I discovered LEGO!!

I just discovered LEGO: Stars Wars II, The Original Trilogy on PS2.

Oh man. This is so awesome.

I've been playing this game all afternoon after I sat down to take a break from a bunch of chores. Wow, does anyone else love this game??

Lego PC games are lame.

Buy some real Legos and let your imagination roam free.

Even better, get a video camera, and make a stop-motion movie. Half of my projects for middle school were Lego stop-motion and claymation films.

I really need to get back into that, could do some awesome stuff a la Zappa's Incan Roads.

 

My little brother used to be obsessed with that game....I'm not much of a gamer myself, but it must be a ton of fun, he's spent hours and hours of his life playing that one.

 

i fucking love lego star wars! we have both of them for the original xbox (they're coming out with indiana jones legos too, but i think not for original xbox pfffttt). we played and played and PLAYED the shit out of those games. jrny and i played together as a team, the whole way through. it rocks out with a cock out....

 

Oh man. The story line is amazing too. No words are spoken, I am so happy.

 

i know! have you started mix and matching to make your own character yet? oh, and i LOVE freeplay, where you can flip between the characters for whatever you want. it's a fucking amazing game.

My three kids absolutely LOVE Star Wars Legos. They want to get the BatMan Legos and Indiana Jones Legos too. Cracks me up how much time they could spend playing those games. Me, I don't really care for video games at all, can't see the appeal.

 

My kids have both trilogies on PS2...they love it...

They make Darth Vader wear the metal bikini...:biggrin:

 

I used to play LEGO a lot when I was a kid. I guess I'd love to try again!

 

Hahaha. Not yet. And yeah, I have played around with my characters - but I kindda wanted to try it out with as little changed on them for my first game.

I'm only on level 7 out of 99 or something.

But this is an amazing game. I'm adore killing storm troopers and building awesome equipment to fly & ride around in.

The one thing that bums me out a bit, was that Obi-Wan Kenobi's light saber moves aren't as fast and accurate when he goes in for a kill.

Does this improve at all???

 

Hahahha, that's awesome. I love it how the story line is in the order of the movies and stuff.

 

some of the characters' light sabers are really hard to control. like yoda... yeesh! he jumps around so bad it's really hard to get anything done!!! as you get more characters it does get better. some of the things you'll unlock include light saber x2, fast build, fast force, etc.... where things go twice as fast, which is WAY WAY WAY helpful when it comes to building while under attack. always try to get the power brick in each level, because those unlock special things. those special things though, you have to turn on in the options menu, they aren't automatically on. it took us FOREVER to figure that out, lol!!! it's an awesome, in-depth game... and now you're making me want to play it!
