LSD symbol for tattoo

Well I have this design for a tattoo, and by I have a design I mean I saw someone else's on some tattoo site and thought it was badass and want it. However what they have in the middle of it is definitely not what I want and I couldn't think of something to replace it with, but now I'm thinking something to relate to LSD, problem is I can't think of how to sum it up in some kind of symbol.

Maybe if one of your most influential trips had a piece of art on the blotter?

@The Show: I am thinking that, but I think it'd mess the flow of the tattoo up and I don't know if I want it to be that obvious

@Goofy: The best acid we ever got and the most ridiculous trips we ever had was actually from plain white blotter lol. My 1st trip was from condom blotter(could probably do without having that on me lol) Only 2 other blotters I can remember was random colors(at least in what we got) and what we think was supposed to be stars in the sky on another, but there already is a star in this tattoo.

 

another idea, when you're on your next trip draw some of the things you see then have that tattooed on you. (by things you see obviously i mean visuals, CEVs could make a sick tattoo)

 

draw your 'third eye" with some flowing vibrant colors with some flames and eye balls on stuff circular vortexes solar eclipses and the word lysergic, or 'L' or something symbolic of what lsd mean to you i dunno just some suggestions, i really like the idea of the lsd molecule but im not sure i would want it to be that obvious

 

im deffinetly planing on getting the 2D structure of LSD on the back of my neck

I personally like the idea of the third eye and mixing the chemical compoung somewhere into that.

if you can't come up with any meaningful images or symbols from a past lsd trip on your own, then should you really be getting an lsd tattoo? sounds totally lame to me.

 

I don't want a personal message to LSD, I want something that just symbolizes the drug itself in a general way.

 

still sounds very superficial to me. a bit like a trendy, fashion tattoo. cool today, lame tomorrow. i'd put some more thought, respect, and personal inspiration into it, especially since it will be a permanent marking on your body. tattoo's are an ancient ritual and can carry karma, so why not put some real heart into the ink if you're going to honor lsd. or, just go to your local headshop and buy a manufactured t-shirt with a general lsd print on it. much more appropriate for "general drug symbols", if that's your style.

Single plain perforated blotter would be pretty cool. The artist would have to render the fluffly little edges properly to get it right. It would be unmistakable to the trained eye, and if left blank in the middle, would carry a zen significance that would be nice, and could always be added to in the future. Or you could always get a heart and ankh(each hit carried one of either symbol), like the flipside to some nice mid 1990's blotters. Perfed as well. It went heart, ahnk, heart, ahnk, so a four square would look pretty cool. There were green, pink, red, purple, and probably other colors too. Apparently...
