Raw opium didn't work!

I recently aquired an 1/8 of raw opium. I know it's real stuff. It's black tar, really sticky, gooey, and smells sweet. One day I took some and put it in my pipe, and I smoked it for about 25 minutes straight. I maybe took about 30 hits total, and they were decent hits each time. All I got was a mild body buzz, nothing that noticable at all.

Does this happen to other people too? Is there such a thing as bad opium, because I know for sure that this stuff isn't fake. It meets all of the descriptions I've seen of opium.

 

maybe you werent smoking it right... cant smoke it like pot or apply direct flame.

when you got it, was it iun the form of a circular stick about the diameter of a pencil and about 4" long? there has been stuff that looks, smells, feels, tastes, smokes, and by all descriptions should be real opium, but has very very little effect. got a bunch of it on an ny college campus for $75 ounce last year, thought i was getting the best deal ever, but it barely did shit, if anything. anyone know of any types of fake O on the market?

 

It came just as a small dense blob of black goo. Like I said, I'm pretty sure it's real.

However, I DID apply direct flame to it. How should I do it instead? I don't have an opium pipe or anything, so what can I do to smoke it properly?

 

could be some incense. i doubt you got an 8th of opium... probably bunk 8ths of real opium go for 150 bucks. only need a small amount to get going, you got ripped off man. i've been played for that one before too. looks real but its incense.

If it was, you could smear some on a cig or a joint and get high.
