My friend...I'm not sure about him.

I'm very confused about him. Let me tell you the story. It'll be long, but please read it because it's very important to me.

He's my boyfriend's best friend, let's call him P. My boyfriend is K. I'm really attracted to him and may even have feelings for him, but that's beside the point. We've been in a threesome together. (No sex, just oral)

Before this, K told me that they had hooked up that past summer, because K is bisexual and P was apparently curious. K said that before the first hookup happened, he made sure P wouldn't regret it and wasn't doing anything he didn't want to. P assured him it was fine.

From what P tells me, K pressured him into the whole thing. P didn't know I knew about their hookups for a while, and during the threesome(s) he pretended that he had never done anything with a guy before. They both went down on me, and we "talked" P into kissing my boyfriend and letting him suck his cock. The whole time, he was really uncomfortable with it and kept saying he wasn't gay. It was ironic because I knew that P willingly hooked up with K, and even went down on him as well. It happened about 3 times, and a 4th time while we were together (in other words, K cheated on me with P but it was before boundaries were set).

    ---Flashback---
As a kid, P was sexually abused by his male cousin. K told me about it a while ago, but P didn't tell me himself until a few weeks ago (and even then, not the whole story.) The way I see it, P claims he's straight because any kinds of gay tendencies are associated with the molestation in his childhood. He's depressed because of it and other reasons. I tried to help him, but he tends to cover up all his true emotions with opposite ones and I made the mistake of pointing that out to him, basically saying he's got homosexual tendencies. He got mad and stopped talking to me for months.

When we had a tearful conversation a few weeks ago, he told me he understood that I tried to help and respects me for it, but wished I had helped him in the "right way". (The "wrong way" was pointing out his true feelings) I asked him what the right way was, and he said "telling me over and over again that I'm straight, and that the person that abused me was terrible."

He even said that he's mad at us (mainly K) for the threesome because it awakened the gay desires in him, and we should have been better friends and stopped him/not pressured him.

Now my question is...is he just disturbed, or does he truly have gay desires? When he's high or drunk, he seems to forget about all his inhibitions about the gay thing. He says when he gets really horny, he can't control it and that he's not being himself.

If you read that, God bless you.

How old is P? And where are you? How do P's other friends and family think of homosexuality? Because there's a difference between bi-curious, straight, and gay, but a lot of times defining that difference is dependent upon a person's outlook on being gay. In other words, it sounds like P is afraid to be gay. He's simply gotta figure it out, and the best thing you can do is be supportive. If he's mad at you and K for having "awakened the gay desires in him," then it seems like he's really mad that he has gay desires. If anything, you helped him to realize this, now it's up to him to decide what he really wants.

But I have what one might call "gay desires" - meaning my favorite porn to look at is FFM, or just girls by themselves, but I have tried to envision myself actually doing these things, and that doesn't turn me on at all. So maybe I'm voyeuristic? It's a question I've been trying to answer for over 10 years, but I'm happy being with a man, I don't feel a void or anything, I've never had feelings or desires towards a girl. So maybe his "desires" are like mine?

I think it's just experimental. I would just give him time to sort it out on his own.
