Theres bacteria all over our bodies. And your hands are at all times, much dirtier then your meat cleaver, in terms of bacteria.

But if it isn't getting inside your blood in any fashion, it's mostly not going to be a concern. I wouldn't touch my johnson after touching something really dirty, but I pretty much avoid that anyway.

Besides, using too much antibacterial creates stronger bacteria that are immune to antibiotics. It's not good to use too much anyway.
