and still growing pretty soon she'll have to go from a flyer to a base. I feel inadequate. But good in a way because I can lay down in most car backseats to nap on long trips.
She does competitive cheering and a flyer is the girl they throw into the air and bases are the girls who catch them. I am I got to lay down and take a nice nap last Sunday while the front seat people had to sit up.
Don't feel bad. My 8 year old son will be taller than me in another year give or take. That kid is just growing like a weed! My little sister, whom is 9 years younger than I am, is also 4 inches taller than me!
My youngest is taller than his brother was at the same age...I think he's going to be a big boy when he's done. The men on my side of the family are all over 6', the men on my husband's side are not over 5'10". :biggrin: So it's anybody guess where the kids will fall...
