So I have been tryin to ween myself off the antidepressant paxil(with the help of my doctor) slowly, but I am still having a lot of horrible symptoms. I get headaches throughout the day, Dramatic Mood Swings, and an overall dismal feeling. It really feels shitty. So anyways, I have come up with certain things to ease my symptoms, including working out and exercise, which actually seem to be doing some wonders for me. Do you have any other suggestions, ideas, strategies, to cope with these bad symptoms?

Working out and exercise are good ways to help yourself out. Also doing things like going to concerts and having fun dancing like an idiot can make you feel great. I don't do that very often but when I do it's almost as good as being stoned if I'm really having fun. Get out there and experince more of life, give yourself fun easy things to do :) Most of all enjoy life and be here now.

I'm sure under the care of your doctor you are lowering your dose little by little by little. I'd say just keep in mind that these are just withdrawl symptoms and eventually, they will subside. Keep up with the exercize but maybe also try dietary changes. Of course consult your Dr. first but eating more fruits and veggies will help. And when your having withdrawls from anything, your body and mind need to be replenished, so maybe trying Qi Gong, Reiki, acupuncture or even massage, or any other energy building therapy would help. Just be patient with yourself and remember that the body is resilient!
