You've got 1 week before the apocalypse starts to happen. First to go will be internet and records shops, but someone has invented the solar powered iPod. You buy a 2 gig one because you don't yet believe that it really works and your on a 128kB internet connection anyway, and only own 2GB worth of music. What TEN albums do you add to your collection, and what TEN albums do you delete to make space for them?
Fuck it then, just talk about anything. Deserts, desserts, iPods, discos, apocalypses, fucking anything you want!
Ten albums? Ok.. I'll do it... I would put Abbey Road in there, but that album does not translate to an iPod well, unless you band together most of the "side two" of the album (which I did) Rolling Stones - A Bigger Bang (I think I am the only person I know who likes this one) Masters Of Reality - Sunrise on the sufferbus James Gang - Rides Again Grateful Dead - Europe 72 Big Star - #1 Record Badfinger - Straight Up Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffitti Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland Beatles - White Album Peter Frampton - Comes Alive
You know it's albums that you would ADD to your already existing 2Gb collection without deleting anything you want to keep don't you? Electric Ladyland and Physical Graffiti are already programmed into my coffins speakers. Didn't really like Sunrise on the Sufferbus much, but the first album is a classic and I'd probably add that to my 10. I've got it on cassette that, but I don't know how to get it into my iPod, for starters my iPod is smaller than it by a factor of at least 2.
Only 10 albums? Hmm... I'd list my 10 favourite ones or so, but I think that I'd want some diversity on my iPod... So this is what I feel like in terms of diversity today: Bob Marley - African Herbsman Brian Eno - Ambient 1: Music for Airports Culture - Two Sevens Clash David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust Iggy Pop - Raw Power King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King The Pixies - (any of them other than Trompe le Monde... probably Come on Pilgrim) Sepultura - Chaos A.D. The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground and Nico (or any of the other ones... honestly) Yes - The Yes Album (even though this is a hard one... any early Yes) That was more difficult than I thought it would be.
NO no no no no no no no no no you're not getting it. You must delete 10 albums to make space for 10 other "must have" albums, because the world is about to end! It's not your favourite albums, it's what albums you don't have that you must have, just in case one day your feeling a bit depressed that the world has ended and you want to listen to one of them. I'm moving this thread here----> http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?p=4539797#post4539797 You now must select ten tracks, not ten albums. This thread is CLOSED!
I've always wanted to post in a closed thread. 10 albums I'd add...there are loads that I'd like to replenish because I no longer have them. Astral Weeks - Van Morrison(I've had it at one stage but no longer do) Rafi's Revenge - Asian Dub Foundation(because it would remind me of the mad coke-filled London years before the apocalypse) Ladies & Gentlemen, we're floating in space - Spiritualized Blue Lines - Massive Attack(one of the classics of all times) Tog e go bog e - Kila(the best trad irish music available)
Bans never work, they just come back as something else. IP bans dont work you can just switch it or re route it, hard drive serial bans work pretty good but if you have more than 1 machine or use a multi drive system with more than on OS thats falls short too and then there are other fun things too.
Solar powered iPods will require approximately 100MB more space for firmware so you'll have to delete at least one album. Ha! Loser.
I am sure you know of these.... Banned by cookie Using your browser clear your cookies. Banned by unique token Many online games have a unique token that is passed during online gaming. This token is often related directly or indirectly to the CD (install) key included with the game when it's purchased. Only by uninstalling and reinstalling with a new CD key will get you around being banned. This type of ban may also include websites that require specific plug-in applications such as Flash. You would want to uninstall any of these plug-ins and reinstall them. This *may* allow you to get passed this type of ban. Banned by common information Some websites will ban other accounts (or new accounts) with related personal information such as email address, passwords, credit card number, physical address, etc. When eBay shuts down accounts they seem to shut down any other accounts with related information. The only way around such a ban is to create a new account with *none* of the same information. Banned by multiple above Some methods of banning may include one or more of the above so we'd suggest that you do as much as is reasonable from the above solutions. Now they can ban via hd identity the same way they ban by cookies and such. You allow a website access to your hd to search out cookies and such thus they can also search the id of your hd. You cant change the hd id without actually changing the hd or the hd in use.
Here are some links on discussions about it. Its pretty tough and sites are using it more and more. http://www.neowin.net/forum/lofiversion/index.php/t289334.html http://fileforums.com/archive/index.php/t-77512.html http://www.punkbuster.com/index.php?page=info.php
Didn't know that. So basically if the site has had a cookie in my computer then they will now know my HD serial number and I will not be able to rejoin under a new connection, unless I refuse to accept cookies from them, which might not be possible? I'm only life banned from one site actually anyway, oh don't get me wrong I've been banned many many times, but it's always been down to the mod and his or her ego and nothing I've done terribly bad. I have no desire to back to this place anyway, I like this place better, it is more open and free, the last place was like living in a fucking police state.
Well if they have the ability to cookie ban then they if they knew how could serial ban too. So many ways to do things if one wants to put out the effort of hire a person to write it for them.
