do ever think it's kind of depressing that the only thing a society can ever accumulate into is just a really large building I guess at some point one of the mass protrusions humans construct from the earth will manage to break off into space and never return but... seriously when and where is that gonna happen
oh, I was on lsd when I was watching some sort of evolution of man and I realized that the only thing societies ever accumulate into is a pyramid. But you only get a pyramid when 1 person is in charge of the society. The more people in charge, the more dispersed and cluttered about the buildings get. The fewer people in charge, the more the buildings come to combine into a pyramid... I know thats nothing really profound but, all we can ever really do in the end is just make a bigger pyramid.
i see what you're saying but you can't ignore the millions of stories and wisdom that is cared on the walls in those places. humanity dosn't have a clearly defined objective, whynot a pyramid, they're cool
big buildings are pretty significant. buildings and constructions are some of the biggestclaims to fame of humans. To morph the lang into something that serves our function, can protect sections of the earth and preserve or acclimatise them. What do pyramids represent? For one, they are the easiest way to make a massive structure without cranes. two, they point upwards to the sky three they are huge and can be seen against the skyline four they tend to be monuments, as in, symbols of worship to gods or dead royalty, and in conjunction with two and three make themselves quite relevant to human societies. five, they are capable of protecting remains or posessions preserved and untouchable for as long as they stand. I think the only depressing thing about it is that no one who put an ounce of effort into making the pyramids of various cultures had anything to do with the purpose of the pyramid, nor did it serve them in any way, and nor did they probably have a choice in the matter of their service
