I actually joined this forum because I was searching for information on dreads. I am so glad I didn't go for the wax!

Regardless of how much "traffic" this particular part of the board has, I value all the information here. I haven't even had mine for a week, but after following the advice given on here, they're already knotting up a bit.

Unfortunately, I am on the complete opposite side of the country. New Yorker, through and through. ;)

    Right on...
roguette, its comforting that you are learning stuff here.. wax is such the false cosmetic way to go about somthing that forms naturally in all cultures hair types..

Iko.. Dude.. I love Mt Hood so much. I love the fact that I have the only year round ski/snowboard area in the continetal U.S.. Palmer snowfield/glacier is at Timberline.. Sweet bro that you know the jewell of a volcano...and that you know Portland is so cool..

peace, love, and good vibes here from Portland, Oregon..

I'm from Eugene, and I actually just got back from Portland about 15 minutes ago. I'm a fellow natty headed Oregonian, or as those outlanders say "Or-y-gun."

Oh, and IKo if you love Portland head south to Eugene, it's way chill too.

    Viva la Republica de Cascadia!!!

Am I right in assuming you went this year? I could only go Friday and Sunday due to a friends weeding on Saturday but it was a hootnaany. What part of Portland are you from? I don't know it all that well, but I have some really good friends that live in the metro area and Hillsboro as well. Hawthorne is definitely the place I'd say I frequent most often, amazing that both our cities share jambos (sp?).
