Kind of embarrassing!

Basically smoking weed is kind of a new thing for me.
But I figured I could ask you guys a question or two without getting TOO much shit.

Yeah, so my friend gave me a pipe the other day, it is pretty bad ass, BUT, I have only smoked out of one like one time, and I didn't really pay attention to the details.

Question 1: Isn't there supposed to be a screen thing in there somewhere??
Question 2: Where would it go??

Ahaha.
I feel funny asking, but it is kind of useless if I don't even know how to use it right??

You don't really need one at all. But if you want one and don't want to buy a new one you can take the screen off your water faucet in the bathroom from your sink.

 

i never use a screen.. and i don't know anybody who uses them.
they're not necessary.

 

if you have a glass bowl you dont really need one, but if you still want one you can take a pebble from out side, just big enough not to fall through the hole, and that will do, and the only way to learn is to ask questions dont feel embarassed, just keep asking

Make it out of tin foil, what I always do. I mean, not for a pipe... But, meh. Just poke holes in it and sit it in there.

Why on earth would you smoke Aluminum. It's highly toxic. If you do it often there will be long term health effects.

 

omg here we go again, ok ppl lol just wanna point out that some think tinfoil is poisonous and some don't, whether or not it's poisonous ppl will use it, I use it and feel fine about doing so. So why does ever time someone says that they use tinfoil does someone feel the undeniable need to tell them it's poisonous? Being a member on this site i have read it a million times that it's toxic, and yet i have also heard arguements saying tinfoil is harmless (can't be heated highly enough with a lighter to release toxins). if someone says they use it then let them don't tell them that it's poisonous thats your own opinion. sorry really baked lol

iv always been on the negative side of the tinfoil issue but thinking deeper about it, people use it to cook food in, whether it be on a grill or in an oven. both reach temperature over aver 2 or 300 degrees and in neither situation does it give off any smoke/fumes/etc and no one seems concerned about eating whats inside. so i think my vote has changes, tinfoil for everyone!

If you are then you need to A) lose wight or B) chew

 

you dont need a screen, but when you first start don't suck to hard. after a few sessions resin will build up inside the bowl which will act as a screen. don't forget to take your finger off the carb when you inhale (i forgot to my first time, and i ended up coughing like crazy because of it.)

 

i absolutely can't stand a pipe without some sort of screen in it. i usually just use pipe screens but have resorted to other things.......no tinfoil for me tho. And about that.......if your using tinfoil in your pipe......why even have the pipe? Just use a soda can.....bout the same.

 

if you have a metal pipe you probably do need a screen
