    I just love this ring!
It's made of blackwood inlaid with lapis lazuli, but way to pricey for me.

So I'm gonna try and imitate it :p
I'm gonna get me a ready-to go wooden ring from a new age shop and sand out the middle band and fill it with some blue metallic polymer clay mixed with some other colours. After it has been hardened, i'm gonna sand the whole ring and buff it.

I'll post some pictures after it's finished.

What do you guys think about this challenge?

It sounds cool. Sounds good in theory. Hope it works for you.

Think about a clear coating of some sort...the clay and wood will swell and contract at different rates and may cause it to fall apart
