Well, what can I say. This is my first post, nice to be here. I live in Nelson, at the top of the South Island in NZ. Here's some photos I took of, respectively, Nelson (Tasman Bay), a tramp (hike) east of Nelson, and a mountain tramp west of Nelson. BE WARNED!! If you have slow connection or limited bandwidth, you might not want to wait for all of these to load - there's a lot, and they're big. I'm only allowed 4 images per post, so I'll make a few posts. --Tasman Bay--
--Pelorus Tramp-- This one is for all of you worried about bugs, snakes etc. We don't have it as bad as Australia - sandflies are probably the worst common pest. They're only found in certain areas of NZ, specifically rivers etc. Like small mosquitoes without maleria.
