Hey guys i'm new here, I just recently started hearing a lot more about DMT, and i heard it could be extracted from grass using a chemist's kit. I looked it up and found what seems to be a good method of extraction, but the plant used is Acacia Simplicifolia (which contains about 0.86% Dimethyltryptamine per gram)
I was just wondering if i have to obtain this plant, or if i can just get another everyday plant and extract DMT from it.

I know Acacia Simplicifolia would probably be more potent than grass but would grass work all the same? i'm just looking to get a one or two time dosage.

Edit: I though the site address would be useful http://www.hardlined.com/dmt/index.htm

And where would i buy said root bark?
I'm only doing this for personal use, not commercial or anything.. so i just sort of want a cheap way to obtain it.. i'm not looking to spend 100 bucks to get a few mg of dmt.. i'm looking to spend maybe 20 bucks to be able to make dmt.

For phalaris, you're going to have to do a full A/B extraction. There's a lot of fats and a little bit of DMT. It's also high in 5-MeO-DMT. If you really want DMT, spend a little money and get some Mimosa Hostilis. 1 oz should yield you roughly 300 mg of DMT. You can get an oz. of Mimosa for as cheap as $4.50. You'll also need lye (1 oz for Noman's tek, which I reccomend) which is fairly cheap online, and naptha. A turkey baster, glass jar, distilled water, rubber gloves, some flasks or Mason jars, coffee filters and a few other odds & ends are also required. If you use Phalaris grass, you're also going to need some muriatic acid (or distilled vinegar) and I think you'll need another solvent for defatting, like DCM or xylene. Naptha may still work for defatting, though.

Basically, if you want to extract from Mimosa (highly reccomended, as it's much cleaner and has a higher alkaloid content) try Noman's Tek. If you want to use Phalaris, try this.

It's gonna cost a little bit of money in glasware and such regardless, so if you plan to do it, you may as well order a fair bit of bark.

Thanks a lot man. I found 2.5oz of mimosa hostilis on ebay.ca for about $7.50 (US/CAD) that should yield around 750mg if your 300mg estimation is correct. If it works i'll let you know how it goes.
