Want to make a stoner compilation album...

Hey you guys, i wanting to make a compilation of the ultimate songs to listen to while high.

What songs do you recomend?

eh.. i notice that when im high i really like late 70's 80's hard rock 'n roll. usually i don't really listen to that kind of music, but it's strange when im all baked it's like all those crazy guitar leads so n so just all kinda make sense. but i guess it's a good thing if if you don't make any sense then i guess you'd be poor and that wouldn't really be a good thing.

heh this is a cheesy but fun thread (no offence you know what I mean) my favorite cd to listen to while stoned is Sade Lovers Rock it is way more jazz like than her other albums and talks about racism and cultural implications rather than just sappy love songs. Just buy that cd and save yourself the effort

 

I would put some songs of Orange Goblin and Black Sabbath on it, or fill it with psych rock songs.
Do you prefer any kind of genre yourself when stoned?

 

"Dark Days main theme" by DJ Shadow MUST be on this album. I used to listen to this everytime I used my vaporizor. IMO this is the ultimate "chill out and smoke" song. A must hear song for everybody. Also, "High Noon" by DJ Shadow is great. The song itself is awsome, but the intro is the best part. A guy says:

"You are going to rock and roll. And you hardly wait for the music to begin. When it happens, you will become a part of that music. You are there. You are going on a musical trip, the highest, happiest trip that you've ever been on. Enjoy it and get into it. Loosen your seatbelts. Let's rock and roll."

I love to listen to that as I spark a bowl.

Edit: There may be a few different versions of Dark Days. The version I listen to has no vocals in it at all.
