Yeah my friend said if you took angel trumpets you trip out like mushrooms so he picked 10 pedals and me and 2 friends took one shot of the "tea" and he said it kicks in 30mins later....so its about an hour later and i dont feel anything so i dont think it worked BUT i looked it up on google and it says the plant is poisonous so is this true cause i heard from people that took it that they got effects so..?
I'm fairly certain this is datura. I suggest you read about it before you actually try it (as with any new drug). I have never taken datura but from what I' know about it, it is really nothing like a shroom experience. You lookin for introspection or just to get fucked up?

Angel Trumpets is the local slang name for Datura in my area. I'm gonna hazard a guess that you don't want to play with this stuff. If it doesn't kick in, you're probably lucky. Read up on it.

I would wait a long time before trying datura, ya sadeeqi. Really - it can hurt you permanently. There is one account on erowid (I think) of a person whose younger brother ended up in intensive care, in a coma, and they didn't know if he was going to come out. It messes with your vision - some people report 6 months for that to get better, some say they never completely recovered. If you are going to do it, find someone (*not* the person selling it to you) who has has a good experience with it and get some guidance from them.
So in my book about shamanism, it talks about a guy who ate some datura when he was 20 and living in Florida...8 years later he is visiting a shaman and the first thing the shaman says is datura...he could feel that this guy's spirit was harmed but the awful plant. I'd stay far away broseph

Yeah, I wouldn't reccomend tripping on Jimson Weed only because the effects are considered unpleasent and dangerous by many. I would go for some LSA if you want to trip on something like LSD. You could also go for the legal phycadelics which are safer than tripping on random flowers you don't even know about.
Yeah the best piece of info is that, if you want a trip like lsd or shrooms induce, then don't fuck with datura, brugmansia, or mandrake. Deleriants are NOTHING like psychedelics. I would describe it as more of a type of "voluntary schizophrenia", as opposed to a "trip", and it isn't fun at all. Deleriants are definitely interesting, in that they show you how far your mind can stretch, but not fun at all. Trust me. I almost died. If you try it, be careful and wait a few years.
