Big issues, such as the fumbling economy, the war, our president, our future president? I'm just like, "whatever, life goes on."

They have been beaten to death, and I'm tired of them. Perhaps a couple years ago, when I was totally into being the liberal college go-er, these things would have been of interest to me. I really don't care anymore. I don't really have a genuine thought on politics anymore.

How irresponsible and shallow does that make me?

I don't think that having an emotional attachment to the issues is necessary, or even healthy.

Being informed about them is very important though... but I like to be informed about everything.

Smart enough to know that no matter what you want to do about it, its gonna be the same year after year?

At least you don't worry about things you can't control

I also like to be informed out of general morbid curiosity

Yeah, I'd say I'm pretty informed. I think you would have to live under a rock not to be, but when I even see some posters who post thread after thread about these issues, I have to think, fuck these people's lives suck.

    OMG TOTALLY!!!!!!!

I agree 100% with this. People who think are idiots!!!! They are losers and some of them are even conspiracy theorists.

The only thing I care about is having sex with as many people as I can, investing in a PHAT system for my car, rocking my Versace, smoking my bong, and watching the game on my big screen.

I LOVE never having to think about important things. I am a true patriotic American. Damn we gotta smoke them evil doers out of their caves.

    ^

I guess that Rat's shitty satire is still better than his rants.

They get dull when they manage to appear in every thread that has something remotely political discussed in it only to say how insignificant the discussion is because the Zionists are going to take over the world anyhow.

In a way Rat is wanting us to think AND stop thinking. Cause he only wants us to think ONE way. Isnt that the very process he rebels against??

Don't you... ever question where that attitude stems from?

I mean, why have you taken a laissez-faire approach to big issues?

    You're right.

I wish that I could give you more insight on it, yet sadly I'm too distracted by your signature. Oh well.

    Today's Big Issues:

Should I go swimming in the lake? Usually, the lake is very cold, but it's pretty hot out. Maybe I should walk down and test the waters. Pun intended.

How am I going to clean out the pond now that we put goldfish in it? I use to take out the water, as it's a fairly small man made pond, and bleach it. I don't think the fishies would appreciate it.

What should I have for dinner?

Man, living simple never felt so good. I mean, I'm sure living the life on the verge of giving yourself an ulcer is sweet too. Whatev.

I mean, personally I think apathy is infectious. It's easy not to care about political affairs and forget about what goes on when it doesn't affect or impact you enough to give a shit.

    That's plain ignorant and submissive.

Because I just don't want to be bothered with them. Like I said, I'm sure I'm as shallow as your last bath. I aint bothered by it.
