so kind of recently my mom pretty much made me tell my doctor that i have taken pills recreationally and now i think he wont give me anything that actually works for my anxiety due to that. this is my second doctor at the same place and so they have the charts from the previous doctor which makes me think if i switch doctors he will still be able to read that i did that and still not give me strong medications. what do i do about that, should i switch doctor offices completely? i don't know what to do at all, i feel like no one at this place trusts me

lol you fucked up by telling them you take pills recreationally. You cant even tell them you've taken a hit of weed or they'll categorize you as a seeker.

Find a new doctor, word of mouth, and DO NOT have your old chart sent.

If you're 18, grow a back bone and don't let your Mom make you do anything.

Since you're probably not, you're likely screwed. The new Doc is going to ask your Mom to have the records forwarded, and she'll just do it.

Best bet might be to go to Mom and explain the situation she has not put you in. Maybe she can talk to him.

If not, try switching. Some doctor will be willing to treat your symptoms in controlled amounts.
