   I hear the mescaline alkoids disolve in the ol' CH3CH2OH. does this mean i could just leave the buttons to stew in a bottle of a week or so, then knock back a few shots?

   i wouldn't. i think the yield would be low.
   
   if your going to go to the trouble why not clean it up a little or just dry grind and cap?
