I went in early June and fell in love with the city. I love how you can get 100 blocks in 5 min on the subway, while in Atlanta that would take 45 min. I love how you can go to Broadway plays at night. I love the fact you can get any type of food within 5 blocks. I love the fact that you can basically walk anywhere you want anytime you want. Wish I lived there...for the summer atleast
Country is nice for burn-riding, cities are nice for getting really baked and having a whole lot of shit for you to be able to do all within walking distance.
not a fan of big cities.. especially big cities where i feel the need to constantly be looking over my shoulder.. like Vegas.. that city gave me the worst vibes ever... and i feel the same would happen in NYC
I thought the same thing when I went there, but its alot better than they show in movies and shit. As long as you stay in the actual city part, its not bad
i hate NYC. i was just there on friday night for my first time..i went to a pink floyd tribute concert. every 2 minutes on the streets there were people beefing and shit. some nutcase was singing some gibberish to himself and whipped his dick out right in the open and decided to piss off the sidewalk. everyone drives like a moron going 100 miles an hour. everyone there is nuts. i don't plan on ever going back any time soon. boston is nice tho.
I took a senior class trip to The Big Apple for a week. I absolutely loved it, one of my life goals is to move there, eventually. I've always been one for the city life though.
I have had a mix of country (20,000 pop town) and smaller city life (Liverpool). But I really want to do a road trip of America, then maybe settle down in New York (Never been but always wanted too) or California. (Been to San Fransisco and Santa Cruz, really liked it.):cheers2:
but why? i find that big cities are usually the loneliest places on the planet. you never see the same person twice and no one will ever remember you.
Haha, get the fuck out and stay the fuck out of my city. NYC is the shit, I'm sorry if you poor country cats can't keep up with it. There is never a time where there is nothing to do. I think 95% of the time in the country there is nothing. And at least NYC doesn't have as money crack heads as Boston.
