Vice Presidential Debate..

Ok, I don't know who will win..I will watch it tho, anyone have any clues as to who will win..Will it be Edwards or Mr. Constipated?!..Sorry Cheney just reminds me of someone who is constipated

 

Cheney always looks like he is just about to burp.

gawd, these things are so fake and stupid yet entertaining.

 

Cheney certainly will come to the debate better-prepared than Bush did, but it won't matter. All Edwards has to do to win is not make any gaffes. The fact that Edwards is attractive and Cheney looks evil should be enough to hand Edwards the victory.

 

I think Cheney is just as evil as Bush, I don't like either of them..

 

I think Cheney is MORE evil than Bush. Again, Bush is just a puppet.

 

I want to see Bush talk while Cheney drinks a glass of water.

 

yeah i can see it now...Cheney drinks a glass of water and Bush says, "They Attacked US, that's why we went to war with Iraq!" Cheney gets choked and spits out water thinking of how much of a dumbass Bush is..and Bush studders and says uh..repeatedly..and something about "mixed messages and Wrong war, wrong time, wrong place" and cheney gets that 'constipated' look again, still thinking "dumbass"

 

Well, I was thinking along the lines of the old ventriloquist trick where the ventriloquist drinks the glass of water while the dummy talks.

Although, the spit-take is funny too. Kerry better not drink any water while Bush is talking or he might spit it all over the place.

 

Oops, I seem to have pissed off a Bush supporter..not the first time..YES I do think he forgot..I'm not being selfish, just stating what Bush said

he just wants everyone to think that iraq attacked us, and as out of touch with politics and what's going on in the world as most americans are, all he has to do is slip that in there a few times and...

voila! iraq may as well have attacked us cause golly gee that's what bush said on the tv so it must be true!

I have to say Cheney probably "won", BUT, he should have, he is president after all....
Seriously, we got more of a clear message from Cheney than we did from Bush. It's obvious, and has been for awhile, that Cheney is the lead man.
I was only able to listen to the debate on the radio, so I probably don't have a complete picture as to how the debate went. It sounded like Edwards was not as experienced at debating. Cheney wasn't that smooth though either.
I didn't like when Edwards mentioned Cheney's daughter, that was dumb.

Edwards missed a few chances to explain the $87 billion vote and the resolution vote. Sometimes I think I could do a better job up there.:$

Oh, well, Kerry should shine again in the next debate, I can't wait.

 

Edwards didn't bring up Cheney's daughter, Gwen Iffel did. Since the moderater put it out as a question, Edwards had every right to answer.

 

I watched the debate last night and I must say, the VP took Little John to school, now he is in the grown up world.

 

I would say that it was pretty even. CNN reporters said it right when they said "Republican's probably thought Cheney won while Democrats probably thought Edwards won.

Now, I am neither, but I think that it came out looking very even. Cheney dida good job with trying to discredit Edwards record, and Edwards did well pointing out the people's concerns with this administration. I also think that Edwards presentation was a bit better than Cheney. He can warm a crowd better.

btw..I told you I don't write for the newspaper, and we are a small town newspaper, that doesn't print stuff like a daily newspaper does..therefore we print stuff from OUR TOWN not the world..The only thing we will print about the president, is when America decides who the next president is..

 

?? I thought cheney didn't even need to speak at all, Edwards did a plenty good job of making himself look like an ass! I would say Cheney definantly won. Edwards seemed to mostly just spew out all the same stuff as kerry said, seemingly lacking the ability to think for himself, not to mention he rarely actualy answered any of the questions. Plus his reply was mostly just we have a plan! Ours is better! Yet he failed to explain how he would go about doing any of it, and in the end convinced me he is just an ignorant ass. Cheney on the other hand came across as intelligent and civil, albeit evil.

 

you lil dumbass, they have a time limit you know.. they cant outline their entire plan in 30 seconds... but you can go to john kerrys website and read about his plan for yourself, instead of saying... "Oh they didnt tell me the plan in the debates so they lost"
