Forward....into the past!

Hi! I'm John and if you recognized my header as a line from a Firesign Theatre routine, we already have something in common. I've been checking out all these hip forums and decided to do something shy people like myself rarely do: become part of a community. I already feel at home here. You are an eclectic group of people with different passions and beliefs, but there is a lot of heart here, a commodity I find a little too rare in this day and age. I am pretty excited about the prospects of chatting with individuals who might share some of my passions (music, songwriting, comix, animation, movies, politics, history,and old time radio, to name a few) . Again, I'm happy to be here and I look forward to becoming better acquainted with some of you.
