Do you Australians and Europeans mix weed with tobacco just for joints, or do you do it for bongs and pipes too? And are Americans the only people who don't use tobacco?
well, it depends. i dont use it in bongs personally, but lots of my seasoned stoenr friends do. in joints, i find a plain joint doesnt burn well, and less weed is wasted when mixing. in bongs, i dont mix with tobacco normally because i dony like teh smell aorund my room (caus with bowls u handle teh tobacco, but with joints its wrapped up in paper and u can forget about it) but with tobacco, the bowl burns really well, smoothly, evenly, more easily, and it also looks heaps cooler, caus the cherry is much brighter and sustained for some reason.. but its harsher on my lungs. doesnt taste as good as plain green does in a bong either. in terms of joint rolling, almsot everyone uses cardboard filters. ie, unlike most americans (observed form the forums ie) who jsut wrap up the green.
seeing as the only stuff i can get my hands on is hash we're always using tobacco in our spliffs. As for bongs or pipes it sounds abit stupid and pointless other than getting a tobacco high which can be cool at times. I usually get tobacco rushes from using a rather large shotgun which means i can smoke a normal sized spliff in under 30 secs! its crazy i get all dizzy an light headed which can be cool at times be wen its over (usually in 30mins) it kinda sucks cause u realise ur not high
i wouldnt put it in a pipe. marijuana burns at a higher temperature than tobacco tho. but still, tobaccos main asdvantage is that it keeps the marijuana burning. wihtout that, the cons outweight the pros heaps. but that can be a pretty imortant thing ike in a joint.
Tobacco is usually a must in European weed and such because it's of a high quality and does not burn well without the help of the tobacco.
I've never used tobacco with my buds once.. I hate the idea of intoxicating my joints with tobacco =P I can roll a pure-bud joint and have it always burn to the end, and its 10x better..The only time i'd maybe use tobacco is if I had some moist buds and only had papers to smoke with.. Or if I had to roll a J with some hash and had no bud to mix it with.. Just so it would burn better.. Either way though, when I get hash its melt-hash, usually Bubble(smoked in a bowl on a screen), and all my buds are dried then cured so they burn perfectly..So tobacco is out of the question..I think Europeans just can't handle a pure-joint of good bud..They'd start crying probably Tobacco just kills the taste and you get a pussy little nicotine buzz for 5 minutes then your high fades out.. I remember that from smoking cigarettes while high.. Never again..
i always put tobacco in my joints but thats basically cuz thats how ive always done it and seen it done... i dunno, wouldnt it be too strong if u only put weed? wth am i talkin about, that shall be my new mission...
I like the taste and texture of weed too much to mix tobacco in a bowl or bong. But occationally, if I'm in the mood, I'll throw some tobacco in with a blunt. But 9.5 times out of 10 I just like straight herb.
I'm going to try mixing some arabic apple tobbacco in next time I fire up the Hookah, see how it goes.
Firstly, my pure-weed joints burn just fine, never go out and burn evenly, so I don't know why people say that. Maybe you need better joint rolling skills or something. And, how is less weed wasted when you mix it? I'm confused. I use the cardboard filters (if you mean the rolled up bit for the roach). My first joints I ever did I didn't do that because I didnt know about it, and they sucked because the weed would get in my mouth and it was a pain in the ass. The cardboard roaches keep the end open enough to get a good draw yet keep the pot in the joint, that's definitely the way to go.
I've mixed hookah tobacco flavors with pot, and that is most tastey. But the whole joint thing is just too much. I don't need tobacco to ruin the taste of my herb.
I was just thinking about rolling some tabacco with my weed the Saturday night but never did....just smoked it in the pipe. I was curious to see what it was gonna be like....I have taken bong loads out of a gutted Philly Blunt which we later filled with weed. Big mistake ....choked more then i ever have. But mixing the flavored hooka tabacco and weed is pretty chill. Good times doing that
it helps conserve weed because when you let it burn, less weed is being burnt away at any one point, since the cross section is haf wee and half backy
smoking tobacco with herb just ruins the herb alltogether. the only way to smoke herb is by itself. if u dont want to waste herb by rolling joints then... dont roll joints
