I just picked up a ball of hemp twine and started making jewelry for the first time in years a few days ago. Here are two of my creations:

A bracelet with cool porcelain beads printed with blue Chinese-looking symbols and a few spiky beads

And here is an anklet I made for my sister for her 8th birthday Monday:

    Very funky, nice work.
I especially like the closure bead on the 2nd piece, it appears very secure.

    Well done!

Thanks guys--I really appreciate the kind words! I've been doing some more stuff over the past few weeks---this is my favorite piece so far. It's a spiral-style necklace with two glass beads and a sweet glass pendant I picked up at the Rhythmfest festival at Nelson Ledges over the 4th of July. I made it for my friend Amanda (a truly groovy lady!) Sorry about the slight blur

Coooool I like it! I also like how you do that attachment with the loop and bead. Good idea!
