So what really happened at this gathering... someone said they saw some government thugs set fire to the mountain. someone else said they found no fire pits where the fires broke out. we were just having a good time out there . . in love.
I heard there was a flaming jelly substance in three different locations down wind from camp poured all over the trees. I hear this was on the 3rd after the police left... I was there on the 3rd and did not even realize there was a fire. If there was flaming jelly I sure hope there is some evidence of this.
I was also there on the 3rd and did not hear about the fires until I got back on this board. I've also heard about fires on the 7th?
There was definitely fires on the 7th but not on site. The fire was down wind from the site however, so FS evacuated the gathering. Personally I think this is just a little too convenient & a little too perfectly placed to be a coincidence, but that is purely conjecture on my part; I personally saw no evidence of fires being intentionally set but my paranoid nature & distrust of all things 'government' tell me this was a little too perfect of timing...
Yeah I was there. We ran down from Montana Mud and the fire was still going. The feds came over the air on my radio saying we needed to evacuate. I didn't see any evidence that the fire was started by a jelly or any other substance. I talked to the head fed in charge..Sean was his name. He was pissed and said that we needed to get out of the woods. I asked him if he was going to pepper us anymore, which pissed him off. He came back with the rocks/sticks complaint and said I needed to get my people out of the gathering site. MY People? What am I Moses? You want me to part the trees and lead family out I asked. He took my information and let me go. Peace. Lost&Found.......from what I saw and how the fire was "set up" it could have been intentionally started by LEO or family. I talked to a smoke jumper here in Livingston,MT and he swears by it that they would never,ever start a fire. Who knows huh? They did have a brother detained for three hrs. because they thought he started it. They let him go eventually.
I personally spoke to a bro' who had been fighting fire. He saw at least one charred log that had been obviously placed in an area that was full of dead, down, and dry wood. I think he also saw this in other areas; he had been working everywhere he saw fire. The Forest Service pronounced the fires "arson". gaia
If you ask me, this sounds like the work of local rednecks or some other lunatic following you around. Somebody doesn't like you, and wants you to take a fall. The government makes me suspicious, but I don't believe they would intentionally start that fire. Damn, that could have been extremely bad. I'm glad no one was hurt.
my suspocion was it was those damn kids from death camp i mean if theyre assholes enough to squirt piss on ppl theyre assholes enough to trey burning down the camp ir the feds ofcourse..but im more inclined to believe it was the 9 year old hell raisers that were causing all sorts of probs
