I don't have a lot of expertise in buying from people I'm not friends with, which is my current stuation. My hookup and I aren't friends, but we're certainly friendly. My last purchase for 1/2 was moist and stemtastic, and it isn't very potent. The quality has been steadily going down hill over the last month or so, but this is definitely the worst. Since I'm not in college anymore, hookups are at a premium for me. I don't want to piss off my dealer, but I don't want to keep spending money on shitty weed. So, what's the stoner ettiquite? Is it cool for me to say something to him about it? I'm probably analyzing it more than necessary. Thanks for your advice!
Then don't... if he trys selling you shitty weed again, just tell him you don't want to buy it cause it looks shitty. its your money. you decide what to spend it on. you dont have to buy a shitty bag of weed, even if you did make your dealer go all the way to whereverthefuck. Its your decision, if he doesnt start getting some good tree, I would find a new guy.
Word. A friend and I drove across town to look at a quarter of "Mid". Ofcoarse it was schwa, so I just straight up told the guy that I could get an ounce of the same stuff for $50. I know, it kinda feels shitty meeting a dealer somewhere then turning down his weed but like Drew said, it's your cash, not his.
You tell him its shit and to get something better. Back home I don't touch anything lower than dank. If my guy shows up, tries to sell me weed full of stems and seeds, I tell him I can get better and he needs to sell his shitty mids to someone else.
Uh, that is quite cheap. Are you sure you meant a half-ounce? A quarter-ounce goes for 60$ here, and thats nice beasters. A half would cost you like 100. You're getting them for 50 . . .
I'd say that I got some nice connects and trust me, $50 for a half oz is good. Standard around here is 60-75
My dealers have always been really cool. If something is wrong with the weed, tell them. If I've learned anything about the drug biz it's that shitty product leads to shitty sales. I bought of some guy once. That's all it took for me to realize it was shit. My last dealer would always let me sample shit too. He would show up for my friends buy and he'd offer me a try and if it was good I told him I'd give him a call later. Just because they supply you doesn't make them above you. I've had dealers bust out a scale and they make honest mistakes. If they have to hurry to make a run sometimes they eyeball. They're a person just like all of us. Just be respectful. If they throw a fit because you diss their stash, then find a new dealer. One of my old ones would sell me shitty weed at discount price since he couldn't move it and he knew I'm not picky. $25 for that 1/2 O was sweet.
damn... i wish I lived where you guys live... weed out in the bay area is $50 an eighth. its dank though... an eighth usually lasts me about two days, but I've been thinking of making a bulk buy soon...
That was the price of dank here in SE MN for a while. Now if you know the right people it's $40. Primo used to be $70 but it dropped to $60. Trainwreck is really worth that extra money.
One way to decline politely is to assume that the dealer is as unhappy with the poor quality as you are. Comments like "I think I wait until the new harvest is in." or comments about how only low quality has been passing through lately assure the dealer that you don't blame them, but that you are saving your money (to spend with him) when better weed is avaliable.
