Jervis Bay is so beautiful! It's probably my favourite place in the world. I've been going there since i was a baby, it's like my second home.
Really?? When i was there, I dumped on the golf course,in a hole on a green, that was the most exciting thing I found to do. Did'nt find a hippy or a sign of one, could'nt even smell something in the wind, apart from shit. I must have gone on a bad weekend
Nimbin is as.hippy as youll get anywhere they have.protest to keep weed legel i go to the 'mardigrass' festival and camp every year!
It's not a permanent community but the rainbow gatherings might be the closes thing you would get to one if you couldnt find a comunity. I haven't been to one but i'm pretty sure they hold a couple a year for a few weeks.
dont matter how many hippy or dippy or yippie friends you got or how nice the land your standing on is if your not happy just existing nothing will be fine.
Nimbin is so-so-hip-and-hippy that it will seem like you've touched down on another planet. It is a bit wierd and has its eccentric types. I lived there in the 1980s at 1 Alternative Way, in a house full of nudists who had sex, weed, booze and more sex (hardly anything to eat) and amazingly, many of those friends so long ago moved out, went to university and came out as doctors and lawyers! There is hope for the human race yet.
byron, brunswick is just north of byron and is also really nice. its also not very commercialised. not even subway from memory!!!
