my computer is an expensive paperweight now...

I paid $80 for an upgrade on my hard drive and $0 sales tax this year for my laptop. I'm so 1337.

 

Also Fitzy there is probably a button to switch from internal to external monitor, usually the function button + one of the F-keys.

 

If its new enough and the monitor is plugged in prior to starting it should detect and run through that port but yes there normally is a function key that will have a little image


Now my compaq does not have the key just auto detects.
