    Why do you have logs on your roof ? Are they holding the shingles down? Oh well this way you don't have to carry those logs down just let the wind blow them down. How did they get up there anyway ?

    every spring for the last 4 years, parts of this big pine tree next to my cabin comes down on my roof during bad storms...i just neglected to pull the logg sized bits off from the past one...

    yeah, its got a ten foot peak...and its all rough cut framing...i can build 'em good;)

    We're getting some winds here too.

    I've never seen so much wind in all my life as I've seen this spring.
