I just called my bf 16 times in a row

He wouldn't pick-up his phone! Is that a little too much?

I'm sorry, he said he'd get to my dorm at 1:30, and by 1:45 I still hadn't heard from him so I called.. and called.. and called.. assuming he went back to sleep (cause he didn't sleep last night) or couldn't find his phone as usual so if I kept calling eventually he'd be able to locate it.. then I started worrying he got into a car accident..

..you know, I didn't sleep last night either.. I just took a 3 hour-long Geology exam, on ROCKS, and I've had quite a dose of coffee.. maybe hence, the insanity.


(anyways turns out he's on his way now, he called me back at 2.. like: "um, I think you may have called once or twice haha")

if someone calls me more than twice in a row i start to get annoyed... i would have turned my phone off well before 16...

that's assuming i was intentionally ignoring the calls. more likely he was in the shower or something and came out to a dead phone battery informing him that his girlfriend is crazy...

 

lol yea he probably was in the shower.. haha he loves it that I'm a little nuts though

Wow thats excessive. The only person I bother that much with phone calls is my mother. I stayed on the phone almost ten minutes last week until she answered from the other line...

 

by the way, I just called that many times because I had a feeling he was either asleep (so I meant to wake him up, annoyingly, okay, but he asks me to do these things) or that he lost his phone which is something he does on a regular basis and we need to call it 50 times before we can hear it somewhere) I'm crazy, but I insist on pointing out that this insane calling had a purpose (and I may have given up earlier if it weren't for the not sleeping and geology and coffee etc.)

 

When people call me more than once: they are gonna hear some crap from me.

 

i consider twice to be acceptable... there are legitimate reasons to not realize your phone rang once, but if it happens twice it probably means that the person is either ignoring you or else doesn't have their phone with them

 

I like it when people call me 50 times.. it makes me feel wanted. If I don't wanna pick-up I just mute it, though, but don't get annoyed by them calling.. there's a simple remedy to that: mute or turn off the phone..

 

Its a little much.
but,I've done it to the hubby- because he seems to have the same "usual" mistakes as your bf.That and he has the quietest ringtone ever on his new phone.

 

my phone's battery can't hold a charge for shit... if i'm not near my charger calling me that much could kill it and leave me phoneless. i don't like turning it off, because that's when someone important would call...

 

oh my bf has the quietest ringtone ever too.. it goes.. beep....... beep....... beep........ beep........ louder and louder.. yet when it gets the loudest it's still so quiet.. and no vibrate.. the vibrate on my phone makes the furniture sound like thunder, no way I could miss it.

 

His sounds like a barbie phone..in another room. --and thats the loudest one he could set it to.
We just got new phones- LG's and i love them...but they ring soo quiet compared to the motrola we had.
We need to download some ringtones ..but i dunno if they will actually be louder,or it is just the phone itself thats quiet.

 

oh yea Motorollas are so loud! too loud, sometimes, actually.. my old roommate was so annoying with hers, constantly ringing, at hours I'd wanna sleep..

 

My wife did that once to me. i was super pissed off. It was my one day in town from a 20 day elk hunt and I was trying to sleep. She called and called and called I was so hopin mad by the time i answered that I surely barked pretty damned hard. Turns out it was 9-11-2001. at about 7:30 AM mountain time.

My dad did that to me this weekend, 3 times in a row so I naturally my mother must have died, I pick it up and he asks if I want him to mail me some BS bank statement or if he should drop it off, annoying

Personally, it drives me insane when females repeated call me. I'm married, but We're swingers so I'm aloud to date around, well theres 3 other young ladies that me and my wife have enjoyed the company of...2 of them call me non-stop. now i have it on a " text me and ask to call before you call" basis...

 

I have the only sidekick (slide) made by motorola....that thing is soooo loud, especially the speaker phone.
