lets say you go to buy pot and someone tells you its headies or some really good shit.... what are some good ways to tell if its good before smoking it? i heard stuff about color, purple or orange hairs, smell, no seeds anyone help? ty Also my boy has a grinder and at the bottom of it it captures the "keef" i think thats how you spell it... but he says its little crystals from the pot you grind and it has 10x the strength and thc but it looks like dust to me is this real or what?
some good ways to tell would be smell, if it smells weak, its not good, if it smells stanky as fuck its usually better. and kief yes, idk wut x the strength it has of weed
also, just look at it light green is usually (but not always) better. if it is really crystally and just looks like a nugget you want to eat then you know you gots some killa
Not always smell is a big factor but doesn't mean its better. Crystals, Smell, and Color are what helps you determine how good the bud is. if it is brown and flat its brick weed if its flat its brick weed just never but brown pot. If it looks brown but is red hairs making it look brown its good.
dont judge it by if its purple, thats just because there was a temperature change in the climate where the marijuana was grown. Look for a ton of white crystals on it and smell it. Skunky smell is a very good smell!!
bone dry is good, lots of white crystals, very little leaf, over-all appealing look. . . you'll get the hang of it. once you start seeing lots of different types of weed, you'll be able to appreciate the good stuff before you even smoke it. keif = good
When I first really started smoking about three years ago. Mind you I'm 39 now. And yes I did try it before and not in college. I did a huge amount of research on this stuff before I began. I read the forums. Looked at pictures and counted on some of my friends who do smoke to tell me what to look for in the weed. There are way to many types and styles to go into them all and just as many personal preferences. I happen to like mine a little on the moist not quite dry side. Because of my age, I think, and what I do, I am a chef, I tend to go at it a different way. I like to try all kinds of different types and blend them in different ways to come up with different types of highs and flavors. I really feel that there are as many types of weed as there are beers or wines and I would love to try them all. I would look at it as an adventure and see where it leads you. Regarding the grinder. Yes, I have one just like it. You have to leave the bottom chamber alone for a while. Let it build up and get to the point when you can get a good amount together. I like to mix mine into the weed I keep in my one hitter/dugout. It does hit harder but it is very fine and does look like a powder. Keep in mind it is going through a screen. Because of that I only recomend putting it in something where you will not loose it like a pipe, but something like a joint or on top of something. Feel free to keep looking. It's all an experience. Just remember getting high is a lot like drinking. You can always get drunk it just sometimes takes more, and you can get drunk faster doing shots than drinking beer or wine. I personally would like to drink the wine. Enjoy.
I have gotten some really dank shit with a weak sort of tea smell almost. Smell isn't a sure fire way really. He should look for crystally, hairy, fluffy bud
